Grammy nominee Chris Brown faces possible felony charges after being connected in a domestic violence incident involving pop singer Rihanna. Brown's bail was set at $50,000 Sunday evening after he was booked on suspicion of making felony threats.

Police say they received a 911 call, and when they arrived they noticed the woman had visible injuries. The victim identified Brown as her attacker. Police say Brown had left the scene by the time police arrived.

A representative for the pop singer, Rihanna released this statement: "Rihanna is well. Thank you for your concern and support."

Brown was scheduled to perform at the Grammy's on Sunday. His performance was cancelled. Rhianna's scheduled performance was also cancelled and replaced by Al Green, Boyz II Men, Keith Urban and Justin Timberlake's rendition of "Let's Stay Together." Both singers were nominated in the same category, "Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals." The grammy went to Robert Plant and Alison Krauss for "Rich Woman."
